installed 'Accurate Altimeter' from play store.
seems like a non-sleazy app.
it shows altitude 3 ways:

  • GPS calculated (real-time)
  • map-based (non-real-time)
  • barometric pressure (calibrated against Vandenburg airport 3mi away)

pressure is the most sensitive, i can see it changing if i go upstairs.

  • get altitude from best spot on 333 roof...95'
  • get altitude from tree in mimi's backyard
